Car accidents are generally unexpected for all parties involved. Four people are recovering after being involved in a three car accident. According to a witness, the accident occurred when a car failed to stop at a red light and slammed into a vehicle already in the intersection. The car spun out, hitting a pole and two pedestrians, a 61-year-old woman and an 8-year-old girl. The pedestrians, as well as the two other individuals involved in the accident, were taken to the hospital. It is unknown if drugs or alcohol were involved in the accident as police are still investigating.
