Massachusetts bill would increase speed limit to 70

Drivers in Massachusetts may soon be speeding along the interstate at 70 miles per hour without worrying about getting a speeding ticket if a proposed bill is passed in the state. A state representative has proposed a bill that would increase the speed limit from 65 to 70 mph on certain interstate highways in Massachusetts.

OSHA proposes new rule to reduce silica exposure

Workers in the construction and fracturing industry face many hazards in the workplace. One of the biggest hazards they face is being exposed to silica. Silica is a harmful toxin that can cause serious health issues, including cancer and lung disease, in workers who inhale silica in high volumes or over an extended amount of time. 

Study claims cellphones may not be as dangerous as thought

Cellphone use has played a large role in car accidents in Massachusetts, and previous studies have said that cellphone use is one of the most common causes of distracted driving in the U.S. Despite these previous claims, a new study is questioning the dangerous impact cellphones may have on car accidents.
